Bob King

Bob King is a former President of United Auto Workers, one of the largest and most diverse unions in North America. A legendary organizer and fiery public speaker, King began his career as an electrician’s apprentice at Ford Motor Company in the early 1970s while finishing his law degree at the University of Detroit. His storied union career includes historic wins negotiating with America’s largest corporations. King has also been a lifelong human rights activist, leading union monitoring efforts and protests to fight human rights violations throughout the Americas.
